In this class, we will look into the different aspects of literature and storytelling to learn what makes up a good story. Students will learn how to dissect the different components of a story as well as look at literary themes that run throughout our novel. In addition to short stories, we will also read a chapter book together as a class. To help us understand the story, we will add in various activities and projects. For students who hope to take this class 2 years in a row, the material will change to accommodate that to ensure they have something new to learn year 2. NOTE: Books and activities change slightly from year to year as to accommodate for returning students.

A fun and interactive class that focuses on skill development, application of knowledge, sportsmanship, spirituality and leadership. The class will consist of traditional field games and creative games that blend disciplines and skills from several different sports. We will rotate games approximately every 3-4 weeks.

We’ll explore basic music theory through singing, hands-on activities, and worship, with opportunities to share what we’ve learned with peers — all in a fun, encouraging environment!
