The students will experience the fun and joy of music. The emphasis will be learning songs, carrying a tune, active listening, and basic elements of music. Cooperation in a large group will also be stressed. By the end of the year, your student will sing songs in simple 2 parts.

This class is a great way to make new friends and build community through interaction with puzzles and games. Kids will enjoy playing a variety of different games including board games, card games, as well as a variety of puzzles.

Where in the world is Australia? Brazil? China? Join us as we take a virtual tour of the world exploring a different nation each week. We'll locate the country on a world map or globe, listen to native speech, color maps, design posters, watch videos, and discuss similarities and differences between our lives and those of children who live there. The goal is to open our eyes to the diversity of cultures on our planet as we learn to appreciate others who, although they may look, sound, and live quite differently than us, are also made in the image of God.
