This class is all about discovering and having fun with classic children's books! Each week we will read a book from various authors, such as James Marshall, Tomie DePaola, Mary Hofstrand, William Steig, Kevin Henkes, and many more. We will also explore a subject that coincides with the book read that day with games, crafts, etc. Toward the end of the co-op year, I will help your child discover the joy of being the author/illustrator of their very own book. Children's literature has had a great impact on my life and I am excited for the opportunity to share my passion with your child!

This will be a very fun, interactive class for music beginners who want to explore this marvelous subject. The music fundamentals of rhythm, pitch, and note reading will be explored through different percussion instruments, singing, movement, books, listening to music, and more.
