We will practice our numbers - counting and writing. We will work on addition and subtraction, counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's, and practice telling time. We will also look into money, measuring, and the calendar. Plus, a few other math skills! We will engage in these topics through fun activities and games! **Each year we cover the same topics, but do change a majority of the crafts and activities from the previous year.

In this class, our prayer and vision is to expose the children to some of life's riches. We will encourage them to observe the beauty of God's creation and the arts inspired by it, and be able to articulate and discuss their observations, encouraging the habit of attention. Class will begin with prayer, a hymn, and a folk song, and will include rotating studies of artists, composers, and poetry, ending with nature study as often as possible. This class will mirror the 4-6 grade Symposium class. NOTE: This class works on a rotation. Students desiring to take it again will have all new material.
