Description:

Through short prayers, deep breathing and stretching - we will step away from the constant spiral of our thoughts. We will train our mind to focus on Christ and His word so we may transform how we respond to anxiety, fear, and worry. We will learn how God designed our nervous and respiratory systems to gain emotional, physical and cognitive benefit. Class will include guided prayer, physical movement, and group discussion while exploring different journaling styles. "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace." Romans 8:5-6 ESV

Supplies/Curriculum to be Provided by Student:

Students will need to bring a workout/yoga mat, journal, and writing instrument every week.
