Description:

The first and largest portion of class each day will be dedicated to physical fitness. Working different muscle groups and levels of fitness with modifications as needed. Learning to use some tools (weights, resistant bands etc.)but mostly utilizing bodyweight exercises for at home convenience. The second portion at the end of each class day will focus on wellness/whole body fitness. The subjects will vary widely. Some examples include the importance of sleep, being connected to nature, foods that support different systems of the body, food as medicine, what balanced meals look like, immune health, gut health, practicing gratitude and prayer just to name a few. We will learn how all the systems of the body are connected (mind, body, spirit) and the importance of focusing on your body as

Supplies/Curriculum to be Provided by Student:

I would like each student to get a yoga mat that they will be responsible for bringing each class day. There will be floor exercises and the yoga mat will provide support and cushion. There are pretty inexpensive ones at Ross or TJ maxx usually under or around $10.

Material Fees:

$15 first semester $10 second semester. All unused funds will be returned at the end of the year.

Skills Needed:

No prior skills needed, we will be accommodating multiple fitness levels.
