In this class, we will be using the Apologia Physical Science 4th Edition book to look in depth at Physics, Chemistry and Astronomy. We will also be integrating hands-on learning through experimentation. We hope to help the students gain a better understanding of scientific principles to prepare them for high school science classes.
Students will be expected to complete assigned homework from the book as well as lab reports on the various labs we will be performing in class. Assignments will be posted and submitted on Canvas.
Exploring Creation with Physical Science, 4th Edition along with Physical Science Student Notebook, 4th edition. Parents may also purchase course guides and answer key & tests. Having access to a computer/device at home and a free student Canvas account is required.

Students will need to come prepared to learn and willing to complete all assignments. If students have any learning challenges such as dyslexia I am happy to work with the students and parent(s) to accommodate their needs.
The student should have completed at least pre-algebra to take this course as there will be math requiring that level involved.
