Min Assistants: 1 Max Assistants: 1 (Assistant Max Reached)

Description:

Art Medium 101 will teach kids that God is The Creator, we are made in His image therefore everyone can create just like Him. We will work on basic drawing skills, painting, color theory, mixed media, sculpting, pastels, and more. We will look at famous artist's and experiment making similar work while listening to music as we create with some lessons. We will create with growing confidence and learn to embrace the "Beautiful Oops" by Barney Salzberg. If your child is already confident or not confident at all in creating art, I would love the chance to encourage in The Truth that we are made to create just like our Heavenly Father The Creator.

Homework:

Some days I will ask for the students to bring in a copy of a photo they want to recreate or materials around the home to collect outside of class to bring for the next lesson. I may send home a missed in class drawing exercise if they run out of time in class.
