Description:

Life Skills will be a fun, diverse class through which students will learn and regularly practice various skills. We will work toward becoming adept with calendars, telling time, money, and basic geography. We will learn how to tie shoes, discuss dealing with potential hazards, memorize books of the Bible, and learn to play simple songs on a recorder. There will also be plenty of opportunities for speaking and praying out loud in front of the rest of the class to build confidence in public speaking.

Homework:

None required but practice, practice, practice in all of the skills will be strongly encouraged.

Supplies/Curriculum to be Provided by Student:

Pencil, crayons or colored pencils, glue stick, scissors For second semester: A musical recorder (specifics aren’t important)
