Description:

Come join us as we walk together through the Pioneer Days! We will use literature and projects to learn our American History. We will cover famous historical figures, geography, poetry, and art. There will be plenty of hands-on activities to engage young minds in class as we try new recipes, play old fashioned games, do science experiments, create art relevant to the time period, and other practical life skills that often correlate with the chapter in the book we read that day. This is a two year rotation class. We will alternate books and activities to provide new material for returning students. This year we will be reading through Farmer Boy, Laura Ingalls Wilder book #2
