This course is designed to equip high school students with essential life skills that will help them navigate adulthood with confidence and competence. Through a combination of hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and real-world applications, students will learn practical skills that are fundamental for personal and professional success. Topics covered include resumes and applications, taxes and insurance, auto purchasing and ownership, home ownership and maintenance, cooking, cleaning, social etiquette, and more. This class will use Canvas; students need to have access and know how to use the learning platform. This course is one (1) high school credit.
Each week, students will have reading homework and hands-on activities to practice the skills they learn. (30-45 minutes per weekday)
