Students will receive a grade based on daily assignments (50% of their grade) and test scores (50% of their grade). Parental involvement is ESSENTIAL and REQUIRED. Parent(s) will be correcting their students daily assignments and having there student re-do missed problems to enhance their learning.

Homework:

This class is for a full high school credit. Students will have homework each week that includes completing 4 lessons and 1 test per week. Please plan on 4 to 10 hours a week of work at home (4 lessons and a test). Parents are to correct homework lessons and students are expected to correct errors and get a parent signature. Teacher will correct all the tests.

Special Projects:

To maintain a passing grade in this course, students and parents are encouraged to stay current on their homework, log into Canvas for grades and homework schedule, have parent correct homework and bring completed tests to class to be corrected. If you don't already have a Canvas student account, please sign up for free or contact Laurie Burkhart.
